A pair of French gilt ormolu-mounted sevres-style cobalt deep blue-ground porcelain vases and cover of baluster form, painted in miniatures with four different scenes after paintings of François Boucher, the front depicts two paintings, the first one "Lovers in a Park 1758, and the second with the autumn painting one of the-four-seasons paintings 1755, the reverse of vases depicts another two paintings, one depicts the paintings "Landscape with Figures Gathering Cherries" 1768, the other reverse depicts the summer painting one of the-four-seasons paintings 1755 of François Boucher, all miniatures within a seeded gilt band inside richly gilt scrollwork cartouche, the shoulder flanked by gilt-ormolu female Caryatids handles suspending berried laurel swags, with waisted neck form enriched with gild foliate pattern and circled with ormolu laurel wreath, surmounted with gilt scrollwork domed cover with berried finial, raised on an ornamented conforming socle and square shaped base with foliate cartouche.
